Eric, It will be good to see this car painted in it's 'rightful'
colors!:~)
BRHS Bulletin # 7 (which I believe is currently out of print) is a
comprehensive source of information on 'class xm-32 steel boxcars'. A
quick review of my copy leads me to believe that your car is from a
different class?? At any rate, I'm forwarding your request to the
BRHSlist, an email forum with 300 or so Q enthusiast subscribers.
Perhaps one of our freight car experts can help!
Listers: Please 'reply to all' with any information on this subject.
Thanks, Don Zinnecker

Subject: Repainting CB&Q boxcar 41236
Message-ID: <586030C143D9D211BFEC00A0C96F8B69014F4489@p...>
Dear Sir;
The Minnesota Transportation Museum is repainting CB&Q boxcar 41236 from
BN Cascade Green back into Chinese Red. The car was sandblasted and the
base color coat applied two years ago. Our sign painter is now ready to
begin lettering.
Unfortunately, we are unsure what the historically correct lettering and
logo are. Would you be able to help us identify the correct scheme, or
could you direct us to someone who could?
Thank you,
Eric Hopp
