I have a BURLINGTON ROUTE painted steel logo sign that I would like
to sell.
It's about 33" inches wide and about 27" tall, with the standard red,
white
and black colors and the standard typeface always seen in the famous
logo.
The logo is painted (old paint, good condition, "nicely weathered" as
the
modelers say) on about 1/8" thick steel plate, with 2 structural
steel
channels welded to the back for mounting the sign on a steel bridge
over a
highway. It weighs about 50 pounds, so I would prefer to sell it to
someone
in northern Illinois (I live in metro Chicago) who could pick it up
to avoid
having to pack and ship it. If you might be interested, or have any
