Mike, I remember hearing stories of all the stuff thrown into dumpsters.
The wood shop was supposed to have had some really old rare wood stored.
Julius Wozek ( roundhouse foreman in 1974 ) told me years later that he
found a journal kept by the then foreman in 1864. The journal was a day to
day account of hiring, firing, and discipline. He vowed never to let it see
the light of day account of family names still present in Aurora. He felt
that it would be improper to show this to everybody. Bill
