With the proliferation of digital watches, many roads
have lifted their requirement for "approved"
timepieces. I wear a "Railroad Approved" Pulsar wrist
watch purchased at J.C. Penny's. I haven't seen a
"pocket" watch at work in some time. I know that
Eddie Bauer sells pocket watches from time-to-time
(made by Fossil). If I were to buy a modern pocket
watch, I'd apply the old standards: lever set, stem at
12:00, black arabic numerals on white dial, minimum of
19 jewels (if mechanical), etc...
