Brian -
As I recall, Galena Jct. was on the LaCrosse Division in the 1960's. I 
remember riding a steam (4960?) trip to Galena over the Q branch (not IC) in 
1960. Steam was replaced at Savanna with a Geep 7. Lots of brush along the 
ROW wacking the cars. Like Steve says, the branch was torn-up about 1961.
