The official AAR "morning report" is out on this high profile wreck. Every
and I mean every tank car lessor and most major chemical shipper/fleet owners
had at least one in the inferno.
UTLX,GATX,ACFX(GE),SHPX(theoldACF),TILX,phillips,Dow,BASF,Huntsman,Union
Carbide etc,etc.
If you look very carefully at the photos of the scene you'll see what appears
to be sheet of plate steel in the middle of the wreck.Turns out that was PSPX
xxxx (PHillips) ! Under that "car" was a UTLX car. Parts of the cars(heads)
were found up in the hills and woods some distance from the pile.No word on
cause, yet. Total of 21 tanks in the pile and a couple plastic pellet cars.
Many more pellet cars derailed and some tanks on either side of the bridge.Leo
