Check out the July 2025 issue of Railroad Model Craftsman, page 60.

They have an article on kit bashing a weed sprayer train with a box car control car.

I am interested in modeling a weed sprayer car.  The information I have found so far shows that the Burlington outsourced this to NALCO.   

 

I am wondering if anyone has more information on these cars.   It appears that NALCO kit-bashed these cars from box cars.  What would be the appropriate car to start with?
