In the meantime, where can one purchase the "Capital of the Burlington Route" book? I did a google search and nothing comes up.

William Franckey has contributed another one of has videos to the BRHS. This one is titled The Last Steam Man.
It is a mix of interviews of his dad plus photos and videos he made or acquired. I is an interesting video, one hour in length.

You can view this movie by hoping on the the BRHS web site, jump into the Members Only area, and click on the CB&Q Historical Movies feature. Look for #13 at the bottom.


Bill Franckey, is from Galesburg and besides making videos is also an author of railroad books
