Rupert:
Well, there was one other small group of center cupola waycars: the NM-1 four-wheel bobbers, image attached prior to the 1904 renumbering. And there's a survivor of this class at Pioneer Village in Minden, Neb.

Subject: [CBQ] Unknown waycar part 2
To those members who have contacted me, fearing that I have lost my marbles, I can assure you that, after 40 years of studying the CB&Q, I think that I can recognise a Burlington foobie (if
only because the modeller omitted the ampersand between “CB” and “Q”!). This posting was just slightly tongue-in-cheek.
On a more serious note, the only Burlington waycar I know of with a centre cupola was 14497. It was one of two built in 1890 by St Charles Car Company for the Nebraska & Western (“Pacific Short Line”) as 900-901. The company changed names a few times and ended
up as Sioux City & Western in 1899. GN’s Willmar & Sioux Falls operated the line until October 1907 when ownership passed to the CB&Q. The waycar was renumbered to 14497 and was rebuilt in the conventional Burlington style by 1910, lasting as BN 11007 until
1976.
