Hi,

Does anyone know the inaugural dates of the Aristocrat and Black Hawk? The March 8 1930 issue of Railway Age says that the Aristocrat first ran in "late December" 1929. But it is in a full-page advertisement in the November 1930 Burlington timetable, which makes me think it didn't start running until later. The Ak-Sar-Ben presumably has the same inaugural date as the Aristocrat.

Various on-line sources give 1927 and 1930 as the inaugural dates of the Black Hawk. I have a May 1927 that lists the train, while the 1926 Official Guide only lists train numbers 47 & 48. So it was probably introduced in 1927 or late 1926, but it would be nice to know the exact date.
