Douglas,

Checking the Burlington Buulletin no 7 on XM-32 boxcars in 1966 the Q won the Railway Prosgress Institute Golden Freight car award.
To commemorate this the Q painted one days output of the Havelock shops (6) in gold paint.
There are pictures of 17302, 60682, 17786 and 61417 in the Bulletin. the other two are unknown.
I have a distant shot of 61417 in the Roseville, CA SP yard but can’t get detail from it.
MDC did a set of three years ago and I think someone else did some as well.

Ken Martin

I'm looking to model one of the gold boxcars. I know of one that survived to the BN era.(61477 http://rrpicturearchives.net/rsPicture.aspx?id=487365)
I have a few questions related to this:
1. Are there any other numbers that survived? If so, does anyone have pictures. (I have seen models with 17302 and 17786 but I haven't found pictures of either of those.)
2. Given I have pictures for the 61477, can anyone read the reweigh details? I've tried with no luck.
