Randal - Highly suggest that you join the Burlington Route Historical Society unless you already have joined in the past:

The BRHS has a huge collection of digitized images and articles of just about anything that you can think of regarding the CB&Q, C&S and FW&D.

You have a fabulous web site.  Thanks for sharing - Louis

Hi,

Some of you may know that I run the Streamliner Memories web site and have posted more than 5,000 PDFs of memorabilia and documents to that site. I am also planning a book on the history of western passenger trains that will focus on those memorabilia.

My personal memorabilia collection goes back to 1930, but I am missing a lot of interesting booklets, brochures, and other items before then. Having gotten horribly outbid on some beautiful booklets on eBay lately, I am hoping some people on this list will be willing to help.

If you have any pre-1930 items that illustrate CB&Q (or other western) passenger trains in your collection and would be willing to scan them and let me use them on the web site, and possibly the book, please email me. If you don't have a scanner, I can send you one that is pretty easy to use.

Thanks,

Randal O'Toole
