[CBQ] CBQ Jr Railroad Article and Photo

Attached is a scan of Page 3 of “The Zephyr” for March-April 1948 published by the CB&Q.  The bottom center article discusses the CB&Q Jr. Railroad in the basement of a home in Cicero.  It was an outside 3^rd rail O Scale layout featuring models of CB&Q motive power and rolling stock.  Also attached is a scan of the original photo used in the article.  It’s a little easier to see the detail of the models in the scanned photo.  The photo was taken by FW Lehmann, CB&Q RR official photographer.

 

Additional information on the CB&Q, Jr is planned for a future issue of the BRHS “Zephyr”.
