Hi Malcolm,

As of right now, we just have a reception during the evening on the 15th scheduled. We envisioned Thursday as a travel day with most people coming from the Chicagoland area. As for Sunday the 18th, we are planning on a visit to the Wisconsin Great Northern Railroad in Trego, Wisconsin, to see (and hopefully ride) the Mark Twain Zephyr. We would probably arrive by late morning and have a BBQ lunch at the RR. People would travel there on their own as most will likely continue on towards home after lunch.

I hope this helps and if you have any other questions, please feel free to reach out.

Hi

Looking for some guidance on the format of the meet. The initial postings on BRHS are that it is on for 15-18 September

Is it likely that the 15th and 18th will be full days.

I'm planning on attending but traveling from Aberdeen in Scotland, so am already needing to book flights, accommodation and Amtrak.

Is it best to arrive in Duluth on 14th and leave the city on 19th?

I managed to get to the annual meet in Quincy in 2018 but only for the first day which started with a BBQ mid afternoon and then an evening operating session on a local model railroad. If the 2022 meet follows similar timimngs, I'm thinking I can travel from Minneapolis/St. Paul on morning of 15th

Many thanks

Malcolm Gauld
