I recently purchased an old Walthers O scale gas-electric kit which I would like to build into a CB&Q 9800 series gas-electric. The kit does not include trucks, couplers or a power unit. I am thinking of using a NWSL power truck which looks like it will work. I have not found any trucks that match or are close to those used on the gas-electrics. Does anyone know of a current source for O scale four wheel passenger car truck assemblies? The attached photo shows the truck assembly on a Q gas-electric. The cars had 33 inch wheels and a truck wheelbase of 7 ft. 4 inches. The smallest NWSL power truck wheelbase is 8 ft, but I suspect that the additional 8 inches will not be too evident. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
