In Zephyr 2-12, No 67, on page 6, there is an aerial photo of the plant.  Behind the large smokestack, there is a large horizontal structure on the end of the building.  Could anyone hazard a guess at what this was?  It has been suggested this could be an incinerator stack for the scrap paper which would be left over (before the EPA!)  It's quite long, and not at all a smokestack, but in the picture it appears to have an opening along the top.   I have several other photo where this is present, though at some point after the 60's it's gone.

I'd appreciate any suggestions, if you have that Zephyr available.

Thanks,

Rich G.
