Gentlemen, I have two W & R brass models of the GE 44Ton Center Cab. One model is identified as Phase I Type A and the other is Phase I Type B. I would like to have one painted locomotive #9103 in the as delivered paint scheme. So I am planning to have the Type A numbered #9103 in as delivered solid black (per page 21 of Bulletin 6) with 'gold' lettering and the Type B numbered 9104 in the black bird scheme. I understand the as delivered paint scheme only lasted a short time. I invite your comments if I am headed in the right direction.
