"But despite the “Do not bend” notice, they still folded mine in half,
leaving a permanent crease..."
What do you expect Richard? Reading is not one of the serious
requirements to be a mail carrier. We get mail for people all over the
area on a regular basis. My magazines routinely arrive folded or torn.
On several occasions when we have had mail held while we were away, the
carrier brought our hold card with a couple other hold cards and as many
as fifteen pieces of other peoples mail. That is bad enough, but we have
no idea how many times our mail goes elsewhere. It is a constant
problem. We have complained, but that is without effect or answers. bad
enough here at home, but I know it happens in Maryland where one
daughter use to reside, Washington, D. C. where eldest daughter resides
in a pretty Tony part of town and in Texas where youngest daughter now
lives.
