Oops, I didn't look at enough photos.  My bad, the last four TR2 sets, both cows and calves (CB&Q 9410-9413A & B) were done as Phase V NW2s on order E1179 in 11/49, and lacked frame falsies.  All of the other TR2s, both cows and calves (CB&Q 9400-9409A & B) had them.

Which brings us to the oft-stated point that you will definitely need prototype photos of the unit(s) you intend to model to get the details right.

CB&Q 9400A & B which were the TR2 demonstrators had the Phase III NW2 louver patterns and "falsies" at the corners of the frames.  CB&Q 9401-9413A & B had the Phase IV NW2 louver patterns, with frame falsies on the "cows" but not on the "calves".  As Bryan notes, the cabs which were later added to the "calves" were of the later SW7/9/1200 style with rectangular front windows as opposed to the arched front windows of the NW2.  So if you are modeling CB&Q 9401B-9413B in their post-1954 configuration, you will have a mish-mash of spotting features related to front cab windows, louver patterns, and frame configurations, unlike anything else EMD produced.

I am trying to find information on the CBQ TR-2 cow and calf units with the intent on modeling a set in S scale which have been unavailable.  I have tried searching on the BRHS with no results.  I have a complete set of Burlington Bulletins and many CBQ books with hardly a mention.  Were the A units a basic or modified NW-2?  Were the B units a cabless NW-2?  Were all sets (#9400-9413) identical to each other?  Were the TR-2 sets produced in HO accurate representations that would be good examples to model?  Any guidance to locate information, drawings and photgraphs would be most appreciated.  Thank you.
