If you have an interest in the history of the companies which made up the CB&Q (including the C&S and FD&D predecessors), check the Interstate Commerce Commission Reports volume 134 – Valuations Reports. This volume of 885 pages relates solely to the Burlington including the C&S and FD&D, and addresses the 1927 ICC Valuation  of the Burlington. It appears to include details of all the predecessors including incorporation, construction, equipment where applicable, record minutes, etc. The data is similar to but more extensive than that in Baldwin’s Corporate History.
