Bill, thanks for the work you've done and shared.  I have an old Walthers scale test car waiting to be painted and decaled.  You've provided me with a great start.

I recently purchased one of the new Bachmann HO Scale Scale Test Cars.
It is cast metal and is very close to several of the Q scale test cars
shown in Bulletin 27.

I've finished painting the handrails and grabs per pictures in Bulletin
27, but I am now looking for decals to finish the model. I have both the
HO and N scale versions of the Microscale CB&Q MOW set and it has the
necessary lettering for the reporting marks and car number. Based on the
spacing, it looks like the N scale set for this portion is going to work
best. I have found a Conrail scale test car set from Mount Vernon Shops
that has the necessary end lettering. The herald decal from an N scale
Miscoscale Burlington Trailer set has the correct sized herald. I was
hoping that I can find something that has Scale Test Car and Weight
80000 LB in Roman without having to piece together a N scale alphabet
set. Anyone know of any?
