3003 and 3004 were converted from mail cars 2076 and 2077. The were bought in
1911 as two of six 40’ mail cars.
In 1912 the post office came out with new standards for sizes and there was no
standard for a 40’ car so they were
converted to baggage cars 1094-1099
1094 was converted to Bagg-mail 1851 in 1928 and scrapped in 1961
1095 was converted to Mail-coach 3003 in 1928 and scrapped in 1956.
1096 was converted to Mail-coach 3004 in 1928 and was converted to
baggage-coach 3555 in 1943 and scrapped in 1956.
1097 was destroyed in 1944
1098 was scrapped in 1949
1099 was converted to Bagg-mail 1850 in 1928 and scrapped in 1950
