Thread-topic: [CBQ] Broken Bow, NE

I had a chance to look at some old B&MRRNebr employee timetables at the Newberry Library.  They do show a turning facility at Broken Bow, for a short time.

Timetable 96, dated July 15, 1888 lists a turning facility (it doesn't say whether a turntable or wye) at Broken Bow, as well as Ravenna, Seneca, Whitman, and Alliance.  A supplement to timetable 5, dated April 28, 1889 also shows a turning facility at Broken Bow, but not at Whitman.  Timetables 6 thru 9 are missing and timetable 10 is incomplete.  Timetable 11, dated November 24, 1889, no longer shows a turning facility at Broken Bow.

Also, some old engineering records I took notes from, made reference to a turntable at Broken Bow being located opposite ML Milepost 176.01, about 610 ft east of the present depot.

The 1918 Sanborn does not show a turntable either.
