[CBQ] Santa Fe in Aurora

Yes it almost happened, the Santa Fe came very close to being built over the 
Fox River 
Through what used to be referred to as "love dale " which is right under the 
I88 bridge at North Aurora on the the Qs first line from West Chicago to 
Aurora. For all the details
Get a copy of the Illinois Division of the Santa Fe.

I read a lot,of railroad history books and this one is a keeper !
