Clarification to all (and still much thanks for the good thread we have going). but I was referring mainly to GN power from 1965 to merger, which is the era I model. Yes, there were some good power swaps going on in the early 60's, with the F's, and even a NP F3A/F3B set in 1965/1966, at it is great that everyone is rehashing it as I know there are other C&I modelers who will find this immensely helpful. But just to clarify, this is the first photo I have found of GN power on the Q in the late 60's. I am sure this was not the only time, and I know there are verbal accounts, but it is always nice to find a picture for those who might doubt people's memory!
