Hi Leo, my first guess would be the Digital Sanborn website which needs a login. http://sanborn.umi.com/ Libraries can usually provide those.

I did a quick Google search for Aurora Illinois Sanborn Maps and came up with this excellent resource http://www.idaillinois.org/cdm/landingpage/collection/aur

Could this be what you were looking at? The color maps on this site are better than the black and white pdfs from the Digital Sanborn site, but may not be as high of resolution scans.

Good luck,

I recently received an email w/ links to many Aurora,IL Sanborn Maps. It seems to have completely disappeared . One of those maps would be included in a future BRHS bulletin on the Aurora Freight House if I had it.

If someone in this group sent the emai/link,would you please resend it to me.

Thanks,

Leo Phillipp
