 I cut, filed, sanded, body putty, sanded and got it all off.  Not fun, but I

  The roof walk is a part of the molded body. So a LOT of cutting will be 
needed to remove the roof. I started to remove the roof on one of my project, 
but gave up half way through it as I was not happy with the results.

  A question for those of you who have used the Bachmann body as the basis for 
modeling the NE-12.  Is the roofwalk an integral part of the roof, or is it 
glued onto the roof?  I would like to replace it, but am trying to figure out 
how to best remove it.  If it is glued on, I'm hoping it can be pried/cut off 
with a chisel blade rather than having to file it off if it is part of the roof 
molding.  I don't see a gap at all between the roof walk and the roof, but am 
hoping it may just be hidden by the thick coat of paint.
