Noel,
How else would you make Banana pudding? It is made with Vanilla wafers
as the shell. Nabisco only! No off brands. My mom was famous for the
deserts ( and pretty much anything else ) that she brought to church
functions. Mom's offerings would be greedily consumed while other ladies
stuff sat and sat and sat. Banana pudding to die for, a lemon cheese
cake ( oddly no cheese in it ), a coconut white sugar icing cake (
white, yellow or devils for, but mostly white ), Pecan pie, iced tea (
both sweet and unsweetened - clear as a mountain stream), and many
others. I wish I could have some of her cooking right now. Alas she is
no longer with us.
Someday,
John
