Pete, In the same vein, a railroader was not officially accepted to  
the work force until he had earned a nick name from his peers.  One of  
my favorites on the K Line was Baby Maker Bramblett who you guessed  
had 7 kids.  Another was CC Wilson who had the handle Cow Catcher hung  
on him.  Archie who was named after the town drunk which is another  
story in itself.
