Hi everyone. should any of you folks wander down to Hardin Mt to see the CB&Q
depots, that's right, two of them, you will see the old Lodge Grass Mt CB&Q
depot at our museum grounds along with CB&Q passenger car #5817 needing
restoration. The Hardin CB&Q depot is in decent shape again through the
efforts of the Friends of the Depot. Also I can have open house for anyone
interested in seeing a large scale layout (featuring CB@Q equipment) on the
Rural Montana Branch Lines located in my basement at 624 N Choteau Ave, Hardin
Mt. The Montana Eastern RR 1.5" scale, 7.5" gauge track is in our small
backyard which has one CB&Q flat car so far on its roster.
There really is a lot to discover on the old CB&Q line from Hardin area all the
way down through Sheridan Wy.
Anyway should some of you like to come down this way and stop in, please shoot
me an email, be happy to see you.
Sincerely
Dick Chapple Sr
