Barry Stone, a ret'd ferryboat pilot (the big vehicle transports on Puget
Sound, Washington) whom I met on eBay is a sometime railfan who shared very
recent & unique photos of an old FW&D bridge (overpass) in Wichita Falls. What
is unique is that one view clearly show the very old (early 50's & earlier)
FW&DC lettering (before the "C" was dropped from the corporate name) and
another view shows, due to numerous repaintings, 3 different BR heralds atop
another old FW&DC name.
SO - if when modeling you goof up the decals on an overpass, here's a BR
prototype. Tks Barry! (who now will become a focused BR fan!)
