List,
Does anyone have a copy of the CB&Q's air brake instruction manuals from the
1950s or early 1960s?
Specifically, I need to get quadrant diagrams and other operational information
for the D-22 brake schedule as used on the E5s AFTER the electric braking
control was deactivated.
I also need the same diagrams and info for the PB-68 brake schedule as applied
to the WSMTD E9Ams when rebuilt by M-K in the early 1970s.
This is for a revised/updated edition of our Air Brake and Train Handling
(ABTH) Instructions at Illinois Railway Museum.
To be clear, I'm not looking for maintenance schematics or piping diagrams,
what I need are the instructions that the railroad provided to the enginemen
for operation. We do not necessarily need to have the original documents,
good-quality scans (.jpg for diagrams, .jpg or .pdf for text) would do nicely.
If you can help out, please contact me off-list at hjkrewer@hotmail.com
Many Thanks,
Harold Krewer
