Thanks for all the responses on the question of the steel tank.  I noticed that it had a “lean” after I sent the message, but that appears to be a camera issue, in that structures on the other side of the photo lean the other way.  I straightened the tower but then the ground was sloping!


Without knowing the size of the tank, I think it’s going to be hard to pin down the earliest that this one could have been built. Thanks anyway for trying.

Does anyone know when steel tanks such as the attached were first built.  I’m trying to date a photo taken at Anselmo, Ne.
