The train crew on a Q motor was "by negotiation based on traffic loads"per
correspondence in the BRT files in my possession. A general statement would be
that the train crew consisted of a Condr, a brakeman ,possibly a
baggage/express man depending on work load. There is an article in the Bulletin
editors hands based on a crew staffing level dispute that leads to a "joint
check of traffic". This provides the basis of the article which provides
detailed day to day operation of a motor car over several Aurora Div branch
lines in the late 20s.
The article text is complete and we are working on filling in additional
visuals.
