All non-articulated The first cars were for the first DZ; SILVER COURIER & HERALD (1936 - APU/MBE); SILVER LINING and BAR (1936 - Bag-Dorm-Bar); SILVER BEAM & BELL (added in 1938 - 64 seat chair - dinette) ; SILVER SLIPPER & SILVER MOON (added 1939 - 4-4-1-1-4), SILVER FLASH & STREAK. (1936 - Parlor-Buffet-Obs) Denver-Dallas service received SILVER FOX, BOW, ORE, TOP, MINE & SPUR. (1937) The GPZ received SILVER LEAF, (70 Chair) EAGLE (52 chair) & STAR. (dining-parlor-obs) (1939) The SSZ received SILVER LIGHT (bag), SHEEN (MBE), GLEAM 52 chair), GLOW (52 Chair) & SPIRIT (dining-parlor-Obs). (1939-1940) The TZ received SILVER TIDINGS MESSENGER, (MBE), SILVER MESA, PEAK (bag-dorm-chair), TRAY & BOWL (dining-lounge-obs) (1940). CB&Q Pool Cars: SILVER PHEASANT, INN & SPOON (1938 - Dining Car) SILVER LIGHT, CHEST, EXPRESS. (1940 - Baggage) SILVER SHEEN, MAIL. SILVER SPIRIT (1939) , HOURS, , FOUNTAIN (1939-1940 - Dining, Parlor, Obs) SILVER CHARIOT, TRAIL, SPRING, GLEAM, GLOW, BIRCH, BROOK, CASTLE, CLOUD, CREST, CROWN, FOREST, ALCHEMY, CASCADE (1940 - 52 seat chair) So... there were more than a few cars available. None of these cars were ordered for the Aristocrat but were used on it and the Exposition Flyer frequently. In the late 60s; SILVER GLEAM and other pre-war 52 seat cars were used often in summer (CHI-DEN (later GJ, SLC), and of course, ALCHEMY & CASTLE were rebuilt into pattern domes.
