Charley,

My use of the word "family" was meant to include all way cars as shown in the new Way car book including Q, C&S, FW&D and predecessors. Like many families, the Q's family of way cars included some poor cousins, probably by Q's own making.

FW&D obviously had an eclectic fleet of cabooses. In some cases, tracking
their history seems to be a challenge. The Way car book certainly highlights
some interesting oddities that occurred in the Q family of way cars.
