In the chart LaGrange is from MP 150.03 to 150.77. Griffith siding is south of LaGrange from MP 146.71 to 148.4. The north point of the W. Quincy wye is shown as 137.58. The spur to the siding comes off at about MP 148 the chart shows a three track yard at the quarry with some dotted lines for spurs.
Sixty years ago (age 5) I got a small plastic train to play with in the hospital after having my tonsils removed. What a start!

The gravel pits that show on the DeLorme map are 'roughly' six miles north of the highway location of West Quincy and a couple of miles
south of La Grange..
If West Quincy is MP 137.5 then 'roughly' six miles would get us to MP 143.
If you guys had brought all these questions up sixty years ago I would have taken better notes and maybe a few more photos. PAW
