May be "hauling coal to Newcastle" in submitting another photo of a Q composite
side gondola, and "flogging a dead horse" in discussing it further but recently
there has been some discussion in this group about finding an old Q composite
side gondola in the weeds of the B&S, and it's subsequent placement in the
National Museum of Transport in St. Louis. This caused me to remember. I took a
photo of one of those cars when I was in-service on the Bevier & Southern about
1978, several years before abandonment. I have placed it in the files section.
It is a sepia toned black-and-white print. Enjoy.
