Don't waste your cash. It is a Canadian prototype, Only the paint looks
"Q", Note: two chiminies(2 stove heaters) because it gets cold north of the
border. There are many American Wide-Vision cabeese on the market from
Athearn, Atlas, to name a few. Athearn had a AT&SF prototype painted "Q"
years ago(still found at flea markets). Grab the Walthers bible and start
looking. ...............CY

Subject: [CBQ] Rapido CB&Q silver waycar
Thanks very much to those of you who so kindly responded to my last posting.
Still seeking information on HO scale, plastic CB&Q (pre--merger) steel, silver
waycars. Would someone please kindly look at Caboose Hobbies, item #0606110082,
a Rapido new model of a CB & Q extended vision, steel, silver, waycar.
Specifically, is this a proto-typically accurate length and paint scheme? It
looks a little long.
Will the couplers mentioned mate with Kadee #5s?
What is the quality of Rapido models? I have no experience.
Would still like to get a waycar that looks like this but with the red stripe
down each side. Any ideas anyone?
Thanks.
