Some time back the remark was made that CB&Q Passenger car lettering
was difficult to come by. That is no longer the case - nor has it
been for some time.
There are (general arrangement of lettering) drawings for the
Standard Steel-built cars as well as (Lettering and Side Elevation)
drawings for the Pullman built cars (of 1922 - Diner,
Coach/Chair, and the combine). Lettering includes interior &
exterior - including the smallest lettering on the trucks.
Dave - Ted should be getting back to you on your request.
Good luck in creating the body decals - gold leaf "enclosed with a
1/16" black stripe". Other lettering (weight, cap'y, truck, etc. is
white lead.
Phil, these are important for the IRM as well, for the CB&Q cars
there. Esp. the interior signage/lettering.
