I'm with Pat on this one. Deeper flanges aren't the answer. As Pat
suggests, check the gauge on the wheel sets, and also use your NMRA gauge to
check the critical dimensions on the turnout, too. In particular, check the
guard rails on the stock rails to make sure they are properly positioned to
keep the wheel going through the frog away from the point of the frog so it
_can't_ pick the point of the frog.
All a deeper flange is going to do is do a better job of picking the point
of the frog.
