There were a number of Erie adverts featuring that ditcher but with variations 
in the photo and copy.  Evidently, a series of 
publicity photos were taken at the same time.

Throughout these and other on-line magazines at Hathi Trust and www.archive.org 
 (we foreigners can't access Google Books), there 
are plenty of articles featuring the Burlington.  If there's any interest in 
pre-1922 material, I'll post some of the links to the 
List of items I've found (with the help of Charlie Vlk and Ken Martin) (but 
some material I'll keep for the Zephyr's Time Capsule!)

Anyone else notice on page 45 of that same issue cited below there's a picture 
of CB&Q Erie ditcher #260?

The "Road Boss" advert on page 36 is also neat - but can't tell whose it is in 
the picture - an Iowa company I'd never heard of 
before..
