Group,
I posted this question on to the PCL, but have gotten no useful response yet
so I'm trying again here among the Q faithful.
I just finished building the Branchline 14 section kits for New Omaha and
New Capitol. Both have mechanical A/C, but I don't know if they had brine
tanks, and I haven't found a photo that answers the question. The photos in
Bill Glick's book show the brake cylinder side of both cars. My era is 1950
plus or minus three years. Did these cars ever have brine tanks, and if so,
when were they removed?
Nelson
