 Yes, Issue 12-76 has a very good article on how to improve it by making some 
corrections to the springs, driver play, axle slots, and gearbox. 
And in Issue 2-77, you also state that a new motor from NPP, #N-112 should be 
used to replace the original motor which would heat up.
That was 34 years ago, and NPP is no longer around and so I am wondering if 
there are any suggested can motors, from NWSL (or others suppliers) that other 
models have used to replace the original motors in either the 4-6-0 and/or 
2-6-2's
I have not done the modification as noted in Issue 12-76 yet, as getting a new 
motor will also impact the changes.
