I've got three, two of which have only been test-run. I've got the boxes
though the units haven't been in the boxes for a while. I agree that the gray
is much darker than it appears in photos and I ordered them expecting a mtach
to the SD7s. If you're rellay interetsed in buying one, contatc me off list.

I am sure this is old topic but I should very much like to hear from a
persnickety Q modeler who is familiar with the proto-2000 Walthers CB & Q GP7
in "blackbird" scheme. If anyone has an extra one in mint condition with
original box for sale please contact me. Otherwise, I should just like to
establish communications with someone "off list" to inform myself about a
number of details about the locomotive. Particularly interested in whether the
gearing had the same problems as the proto-2000 Q GP30, and the color of that
"gray on top" which looks much too dark to me.
