[CBQ] $1999 CB&Q whistlepost

Currently there is an alleged Burlington whistle post on eBay for nearly $2000. 
 I won't discuss the price as that is obvious!  It's cast metal & 250# BUT is 
not CB&Q despite Seller doing 'research'  Turns out their research was going to 
Railphotos and the whistle post section where indeed this style can be found in 
a photo in front of a nice shiny red/white CB&Q diesel.  Problem?  Recently 
taken @ Illinois Railway Museum!
Lesson learned: a Seller whether at a RR show, eBay, on this list, etc may 
indeed in good faith believe 'x' is CB&Q and rare but due diligence will save 
you $$$!
