I'm sure someone else would have a more definitive answer but I don't see any
unit grain trains shown in the Burlington Lines Operating Sheets book from
1968. I do see in my Great Northern Freight Cars book(vol 2 by Scott Thomson)
that they strted experimental grain units trains to the Northwest in April 1968
with PS 4,740 covered hoppers so CB&Q may not have started them before the BN
merger.
