John,
Thanks for the info! As far as expense, I shop at railroadbooks.biz. Chuck has
the best prices and great selection, including the
recently-mentioned-on-this-thread book on through passenger service.
The era I am most interested in is pre-merger. I have one of Poor's books; it
offers tidbits here and there of what I want. I will definitely check out the
Holck set and, even though my interest is not in steam, the Burlington in
Transition book does look tempting as well.
Unfortunately, I live near Baltimore at this time. The B&O Museum's great, but
obviously concentrated on eastern roads. However, I'm one of the 9+%
temporarily unemployed in this country. With a, little luck though, I'll be
moving someday soon for a new job, hopefully to somewhere closer to the Q's
original stomping grounds.
Bryan B.
