Yes there was a Grier's in the depot in Burlington.
I have a Grier's post card with a map of the Burlington Route on it
and the folloowing cities are shown in red meaning they have a
restaurant there.
Chicago
Savannah
Galesburg
Burlington
Quincy
Creston
Omaha
LIncoln
Bonneville, Wy
Texline
I don't know but doubt they had anything to do with the dining cars.
