Hi John.
The platforms were wood in the 1800's and had four beams that supported the
deck
and the end bolsters, they had metal tie rods that drew the whole platform
together, from the car body to the bottom of the steps on both sides were metal
sheets to add support. We are still searching for trucks wood Pullman 4 wheel
trucks are not easy to find and we will NOT compromise on trucks, if we dont
find them then it will stay on its frame until we do or until we have new ones
built.
Thanks for the support
Mike Pannell
